Palasgaon Gate is one of the 16 official buffer zone gates of the Tadoba National Park & Reserve , It is situated in Kolara Zone which is in the northern part of the reserve.
This entry point has gained reputation because of its dense forest patches, hilly tracks and open fields and all these provide an adventurous jungle safari to the visitors of tadoba national park.
While tigers are the main attraction at TATR , Palasgaon is known for leopards, sloth bears, and wild dogs (dholes). This gate is often described for adventures because of its rawness in its area . Night Safari at this gate is permissible as it is one of the few gates that offers Night Safaris at Tadoba Jungle . Through this it allows to spot nocturnal animals like civets, owls, and sometimes leopards on the move.

Safari Timing
There are two safaris available i.e. morning and evening. The morning safari starts at 6.30 AM and the evening safari begins at 2.30 PM.
